EPISODE 1 - KEIR AND CHLOE

The first case is a local missing persons. Keir and Chloe Johnson. Both mother and daughter went missing April 30th 2017 from Hampton, VA, a few months shy of baby Chloe's first birthday. Keir, a new young mother to her baby girl Chloe, a resident of Hampton, VA was living at her mother's home at the time both disappeared. From all accounts, it seemed Keir was great mother, daughter, twin sister and friend. I myself came across Keir for a brief moment while she walked her dog with her daughter in the stroller in a mutual apartment complex. We spoke in passing. It was a total shock when the news broke that a mother and child were missing. A pair that I had seen before and that it only occurred a short drive from me. Here it is May and they have already been missing for going on a week. What happened to Keir and Chloe? So here's the details the police and media have released: 1. Keir told her mother she was going to take Chloe to Buckroe Beach to meet a friend. 2. Buckroe Beach is less than a 5 minute drive from the Keir's mother's residence. 3. Keir and Chloe didn't travel with any personal affects. Keir's wallet and purse were left at home. Essentials for a young baby like clothes and bottles were left behind. 4. Keir and Chloe ever made it to Buckroe Beach to meet the friend. 5. Police recovered Keir's 2013 Black Optima in neighboring city, Newport News two weeks later. 6. Police checked the field near the trailer homes where Keir's vehicle was found and found no evidence. 7. No sign of Keir or Chloe as of April 30th 2017, its like they vanished in thin air. 8. Hampton policed turned over the investigation to Newport News Police Department, they state they still are actively investigating. There are many theories circulating around the disappearance of Keir and Chloe Johnson. 1. Is that she ran away with Chloe. A theory even mentioned by Chloe's father, Carlos Johnson. Texas to be exact. But lets break this down. she didn't take anything with her. For her or her daughter. She left behind the biggest things that could get her to her new life, that are essentials with a child, her car and her wallet. She had no necessities and after 3 years, there still has been no communication. For someone who lived with their parent, had a twin sister, was close with her family, there has been no word that Keir has reached out to anyone in Hampton to say her and Chloe were alive and well. Could she have run away? I'm sure she could have. But did she? I highly doubt she did. 2. Sex/Human Trafficking. Not that its a too far fetched idea, especially in the world we live in today. Where its been so common for more trafficking headlines to break. Could she and her baby girl been early victims of the trafficking rings that were growing during this time. Maybe. There's no evidence left behind. Just disappeared. Much like the story of Phoenix Coldon who went missing shortly after leaving her residence. Truck left abandoned in the middle of the road with the keys in the ignition and the engine still on. The only thing left behind was Keir's car. But its been 3 years. Even in sex trafficking there have been opportunities where in 3 years they have been able to call and reach out to family and/or friends. In three years, nothing? As well, its a lot of stress, to kidnap a mother and her baby without bringing attention on yourself, especially if she doesn't know you. Unless she did. Unless someone set her up to be snatched and sold. Though not far fetched, its just unlikely. 3. But what if she was set up. What if she did know them. What if it was someone closer to home. Usually most homicides are not random or coincidence. They are committed by people with ties to the victim. This is the most logical explanation to what could have possibly happened to both mother and daughter. Who exactly was the friend she went to go meet? Was there any camera footage from homes, businesses, or lights that can pinpoint her movements. Can you utilize the black box to determine when the car was started, when it was stopped, etc.? Where's Keir's phone? Who was the last person she talked to on record? What happened those brief 2 minutes between Grimes Rd and Buckroe Beach. Did she make a pitstop at another house or location? A lot of people including myself believed the most common theory that exists when it comes to disappearances and homicides, look at the male in the picture. From what I could find the only male in the picture was Chloe's father, Carlos Johnson. The police stated they checked out Carlos Johnson and in 2017 he wasn't a person of interest. However, I wonder if he could have something to do with their disappearance. Rumor has it, that he had a family at the time Keir got pregnant and she was on her way to take legal action for him to own up to his half of his responsibility. The week of their disappearance, he had took off work and in the past 3 years since they have been missing he has only posted a missing flyer of them once. He has had conversations with people on social media where he has said that Keir had called him from Texas and said she was fine. Then he recanted and said he never said such. (Thank God for screenshots) He also said she was fine and to stop looking for her. To add more speculation, he once had dreads and then reappeared with a completely shaven head after the fact. Since their disappearance, he has been in and out of the state and country on trips and excursions. Now this is just speculation but we all know how the ones closest are usually the ones guilty. Who had something to gain with their disappearance. Someone she trusted to a certain extent. Someone who'd know how to get her. Someone who knew the city. Someone who knew where to dump the car. Someone who could have a readily available alibi. Whatever theory you roll with, the truth of the matter is that Keir and Chloe are both still missing. One suspect has been arrested and is being held with out bond for malicious murder. So one for the win! Justice begins.
